Let's come together this holiday season and show our deployed service members and veterans how much we appreciate them! Soldiers' Angels Holiday Community Partner Program works specifically during the holiday season to provide cards, letters, and stuffed stockings for our troops and veterans. As combat deployments have drawn down many charities, including Soldiers' Angels, have discontinued the acceptance of holiday cards and letters to the troops- the volume of cards and letters exceeded our distribution abilities. While most charities will not, Soldiers' Angels will continue to accept your holiday cards and letters from our Holiday Community Partner members only! Each card and/or letter must be placed into a stocking filled with goodies for our troops and veterans. Soldiers' Angels will deliver your stockings to a deployed service member or veteran patient. Registration for this unique holiday program is now open. Learn more or register to pledge stockings here.

Last year we launched a new campaign called Warm Feet for Warriors-- collecting new socks for deployed service members and veterans in VA Hospitals. We began with a small goal of collecting 1,000 pairs, and, thanks to all of you, we blew that goal out of the water and collected over 8,500 pairs!! Warm Feet is back in 2018 and we would love to collect at least 8,000 pairs once again. The collection will run from February 15 to April 30. Learn more about how you can participate in Soldiers' Angels Warm Feet for Warriors.
There is something special about popcorn. That salty, buttery taste is irresistible and brings back memories of movie theaters, carnivals, and all kinds of special events. We want to help our deployed service members savor those tasty memories! Thanks to our continued partnership with Trail's End, we have thousands of bags of popcorn to ship to deployed. But we need your help to get the popcorn shipped to deployed service members! Shipping one care package filled with popcorn costs just $18 and has a huge impact on the morale of our heroes and sheroes! Can you help us by covering the cost of shipping of one or more boxes?
We’ve been thinking for a while that it was time to give our Operation Top Knot team a fresh name. One that captures what the team was all about. We put the idea out there and asked our angels what they thought. They all pitched in name ideas and we took a vote: Soldiers’ Angels Baby Brigade was the winner! This name truly captures what the team is all about: military babies! Learn more about the Soldiers' Angels Baby Brigade Team and how you can help military babies.
Thanks to a program called Recycled Rides™ by the National Auto Body Council, deserving veterans across the country are receiving much-needed vehicles. In 2017, Soldiers’ Angels was proud to partner with Caliber Collision to donate 8 Recycled Rides vehicles to deserving veterans. In 2018, Soldiers’ Angels and Caliber Collision are back at it with the hopes of changing even more veteran lives. The first car giveaway of the year happened on January 11th, 2018 in San Jose, California and we are looking forward to many more to come this year.
Getting back into the swing of civilian life is tough for former active duty men and women. It is especially difficult for veterans with mental health concerns such as addiction, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Thankfully, America’s heroes are not alone in their quest for gainful employment and entrepreneurship. The following advice and resources can help.

Soldiers' Angels Veteran Mobile Food Distributions have become a staple for thousands of low-income, at-risk, and homeless veteran families in cities across the country. The event provides approximately 50 pounds of supplemental food assistance to the registered families in the form of fresh produce, non-perishable food items, and meat. Currently, the distribution occurs monthly in five cities: Atlanta, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; Denver, Colorado; Detroit, Michigan; and San Antonio, Texas. Soldiers' Angels is in the process of opening additional cities in 2018. Click here to watch our video about the Soldiers' Angels Mobile Food Distributions to learn more.
We think our Angels are already some of the most amazing, kind, and selfless individuals on the planet-- but even Angels have resolutions to be better at what they do best! We asked our Angels what their Soldiers’ Angels resolutions were this year. Here is what they resolve to do in 2018...
